JazzyJune's history began on a hot August night in 2001 at the top of the Landmark Convention Center on St. Helen's in Tacoma, Washington. Attendance topped 70 and we had no live entertainment. We had about 20 exhibitors, great food, a champagne toast and we were off and running with our first purposeful networking event. It seemed to be the hottest night in August that year. We quickly decided we did not want to live up to our name of Hot August Nights…so we decided on June....hence, JazzyJune.
